The 3D version of PROSPERO is fully parallelized with the MPI interface. The code is written in standard C language and is intended to run on any Linux/Unix platform. Visualization of the results are provided with the Paraview software.
A 28cm length cube of aluminium is excited by a source point on the left face at 0.5 MHz. Simulation is runned on a 350^3 grid points, corresponding to 9 points per wavelength for the S-wave and 18 points for the P-wave. Normal velocities are represented along the time.
